Carrington College™ California is accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), 10 Commercial Blvd., Suite 204, Novato, CA 94949, 415-506-0234. WASC is an institutional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation and the U.S. Department of Education. Carrington College™ is accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS, 750 First St NE, Suite 980, Washington, DC 20002, (202) 336-6780) to award bachelor's degrees, associate's degrees, and certificates of achievement. The Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools is listed as a nationally recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education and is recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Additionally, many of the programs are accredited programmatically by specialty accrediting bodies with expertise in their occupational fields.
