Carrington Colleges Group programs, offered through Carrington College™ and Carrington College™ California, prepare students for careers in a diverse range of over twenty programs in business, drafting, graphics, health care, legal and liberal studies through certificate, associate and bachelor degree programs. Carrington Colleges is a part of DeVry Inc. (NYSE: DV), a global provider of educational services. Paul joined DeVry in 2007 as Vice President of Metro Operations at DeVry University. His responsibilities included oversight of the university’s network of nearly 100 North American locations. Paul has been instrumental in the success of several major projects at DeVry including the creation of Next Generation Student Central, a program that focuses on world-class support services to help more students succeed in school and graduate. Paul was named President of Carrington Colleges Group in 2011 and oversees the success of the 20 campuses of Carrington College and Carrington College California. Paul is an 18-year veteran of private-sector higher education. He has served in a variety of leadership roles across numerous locations during his career including director of enrollment, campus director, regional vice president, and vice president of operations. Paul holds a bachelor’s degree in English from McDaniel College and a master’s degree in Organizational Management from University of Phoenix. He resides in Phoenix, Ariz. with his wife and daughter.
Mr. Clohan has served as U.S. Undersecretary of Education, Education Counsel to the Education and Labor Committee of the U.S. House of Representatives, Legislative Assistant to two Members of Congress, General Counsel/Vice President for Government Relations for the Association of Independent Colleges and Schools, General Counsel to two postsecondary accrediting agencies (Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools; the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools), and Executive Director for the California Association of Private Postsecondary Schools. Mr. Clohan is also an active board member of the Career College Association. From 1982 to 1996, he was a partner in Clohan & Dean, a Washington-based law firm specializing in representation of higher education and banking clients. Mr. Clohan was an officer in the U.S. Air Force for five years, serving as commander of the headquarters support squadrons for Tactical Air Command and for Air Force Systems Command. Mr. Clohan holds a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center, a M.S. in Administration from George Washington University, and a B.S. in International Relations and in Political Science from the U.S. Air Force Academy.

Dr. Tamara Rozhon is the President of Carrington College®. Dr. Rozhon brings a successful 18-year track record of higher education to Carrington College®, a part of DeVry Inc., a global provider of educational services, and has the drive and motivation to continue her success for years to come. Dr. Rozhon was appointed as president of Carrington College® in 2011. In her new role, Rozhon is responsible for overseeing operations as well as growth strategies for the 11 campuses that comprise Carrington College. Prior to joining Carrington College®, Rozhon served as chief operating officer and senior vice president of strategic operations and business expansion for TCS Education System for six years. During her role, she was responsible for marketing, admissions, campus operations, international initiatives and student services for four separate higher education affiliates. She also held leadership positions at Alta Colleges, Argosy University and American Schools of Professional Psychology before her years with TCS. “In her 18 years in postsecondary education, Tamara has demonstrated the ability to successfully develop, implement and manage initiatives that drive excellence and adapt to the changing higher education environment,” said Rob Paul, President of Carrington Colleges Group, Inc. “We look forward to the knowledge she brings and are excited to welcome her to the Carrington and DeVry Inc. family.” Rozhon holds a doctorate in higher education management from University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in adult education from National-Louis University and a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University. She also brings experience in the classroom, having taught at Elgin Community College and in the adult education program in the Illinois public school system.
Sanjay Sardana joined Carrington Colleges Group, Inc., a part of DeVry Inc., a global provider of educational services, in 2012 as the Vice President of Finance. His experience and knowledge of the educational financial industry shines through his success with the Carrington brand. In his role, Sanjay is responsible for overseeing the accounting, financial operations and financial planning and analysis teams, which is comprised of Carrington College® and Carrington College® California. Prior to joining Carrington, Sanjay served as the Sr. Director of Financial Services at DeVry University. He was responsible for the finance team and for creating the student finance team for Online, which supports DeVry University, it’s Keller Graduate School of Management and Chamberlain College of Nursing. Post DeVry, at Ultimate Medical Academy, where he was the Sr. Vice President of Finance and Operations, he oversaw finance, student finance and campus operations for the company. Sanjay also spent five years with the Mentor Network, a diversified managed healthcare services company. “We are pleased to welcome Sanjay back to the to the Carrington and DeVry Inc. family,” said Robert Paul, president of Carrington Colleges Group, Inc. “He brings significant higher education experience in both finance and operations to his new role at Carrington. ” Sanjay earned a B.S. in Finance from Shri Ram College of Commerce of Delhi University in New Delhi, India, an MBA in Accounting from Johnson & Wales University, and an MBA in Marketing from DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management.
Mr. Vaughn has served as the Vice President of Marketing and Admissions since August 2008. Mr. Vaughn previously served as the Director of Marketing and Admissions for Carrington College™ from 2004-2008.
Mr. McMurtry has been the head of Carrington Colleges Group, Inc.’s Information Technology department since January of 2004. Prior to taking on this role, he was the Vice President of Information Systems for Carrington College™ California.
Ms. Gregg has served as Human Resources Vice President of Carrington Colleges Group, Inc. since joining the Company in March 2004. Ms. Gregg has over 30 years of Human Resources management experience in various industries including biomedical, professional services, high technology, and manufacturing.
Melissa Esbenshade brings 17 years of marketing experience to Carrington Colleges Group, Inc., a part of DeVry Inc., a global provider of educational services, and was appointed vice president of marketing in August 2011. Her passion and commitment to bringing success to the Carrington brand shows in her hard work and dedication. In her role, Esbenshade is responsible for creating, leading and managing marketing strategies to recruit and retain students for Carrington Colleges Group, Inc., which is comprised of Carrington College® and Carrington College® California. Prior to joining Carrington, Esbenshade served as vice president of marketing for Universal Technical Institute where she led a team that reduced response time to prospective students, enhanced the quality of student inquiries and optimized the marketing mix. She also spent nine years at General Electric in positions that included industry marketing manager and vice president of marketing and product development for GE Money. “We are pleased to welcome Melissa to the Carrington and DeVry Inc. family,” said Robert Paul, president of Carrington Colleges Group, Inc. “She brings a rich blend of professional experience in marketing, customer service and process improvement both in private sector higher education and business.” Esbenshade holds a Master of Business Administration in services marketing and management from Arizona State University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from University of Richmond.
